Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Banking, Communication and Technology sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 declined 0.57%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK), which rose 5.92% or 74 points to trade at 1323 at the close. Meanwhile, Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TA:TEVA) added 0.99% or 85 points to end at 8681 and Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TA:BEZQ) was up 0.97% or 4.3 points to 447.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TA:TSEM), which fell 4.18% or 234 points to trade at 5370 at the close. Melisron (TA:MLSR) declined 2.58% or 430 points to end at 16210 and Liveperson (TA:LPSN) was down 2.52% or 196 points to 7589.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 243 to 144 and 37 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for December delivery was up 1.16% or 0.70 to $60.89 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 1.21% or 0.85 to hit $71.03 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.13% or 1.60 to trade at $1204.80 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.62% to 3.6955, while EUR/ILS fell 0.09% to 4.1580.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.56% at 97.28.
