Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Banking, Financials and Biomed sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 declined 0.56%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Israel Corp (TASE:ILCO), which rose 2.99% or 4,560.00 points to trade at 156,900.00 at the close. Meanwhile, ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TASE:ICL) added 2.51% or 79.00 points to end at 3,227.00 and Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:TEVA) was up 1.72% or 42.00 points to 2,490.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Liveperson (TASE:LPSN), which fell 7.57% or 385.00 points to trade at 4,700.00 at the close. OPKO Health Inc (TASE:OPK) declined 3.22% or 27.30 points to end at 820.00 and Israel Discount Bank Ltd (TASE:DSCT) was down 2.43% or 48.00 points to 1,925.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 262 to 224 and 36 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for September delivery was up 1.39% or 1.32 to $96.02 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 1.36% or 1.34 to hit $99.72 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.66% or 11.45 to trade at $1,715.95 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was unchanged 0.01% to 3.44, while EUR/ILS unchanged 0.12% to 3.51.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.18% at 106.43.
