Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Communication, Technology and Banking sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 declined 0.47%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:TEVA), which rose 3.87% or 164.00 points to trade at 4,400.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Enlight Renewable Energy Ltd (TASE:ENLT) added 2.12% or 137.00 points to end at 6,609.00 and Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TASE:BEZQ) was up 1.94% or 9.20 points to 483.80 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were NICE Ltd (TASE:NICE), which fell 4.34% or 3,410.00 points to trade at 75,210.00 at the close. Camtek Ltd (TASE:CAMT) declined 3.46% or 1,020.00 points to end at 28,490.00 and Sapiens International Corporation NV (TASE:SPNS) was down 2.11% or 220.00 points to 10,210.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 233 to 223 and 81 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for March delivery was down 1.34% or 1.04 to $76.78 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 1.12% or 0.92 to hit $81.58 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.98% or 20.15 to trade at $2,071.05 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.31% to 3.64, while EUR/ILS fell 0.19% to 3.95.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.30% at 102.91.
