Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Insurance, Financials and Banking sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 lost 0.44%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Israel Corp (TA:ILCO), which rose 1.70% or 1600 points to trade at 95570 at the close. Meanwhile, Shufersal (TA:SAE) added 1.69% or 39 points to end at 2350 and Bazan Oil Refineries Ltd (TA:ORL) was up 1.08% or 2.0 points to 187.3 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Perrigo (TA:PRGO), which fell 3.56% or 930 points to trade at 25220 at the close. First International Bank of Israel Ltd (TA:FTIN) declined 1.72% or 138 points to end at 7907 and Leumi (TA:LUMI) was down 1.64% or 38 points to 2274.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 252 to 133 and 17 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for September delivery was down 0.33% or 0.22 to $67.41 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 0.11% or 0.08 to hit $72.73 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 1.20% or 14.60 to trade at $1204.40 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.63% to 3.6929, while EUR/ILS fell 0.58% to 4.2159.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.08% at 96.11.
