Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Real Estate, Oil & Gas and Banking sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 fell 0.43%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were NICE Ltd (TASE:NICE), which rose 3.27% or 2,150.00 points to trade at 67,850.00 at the close. Meanwhile, ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TASE:ICL) added 1.86% or 29.00 points to end at 1,592.00 and Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:TSEM) was up 1.16% or 170.00 points to 14,810.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Shapir Engineering Industry (TASE:SPEN), which fell 3.23% or 69.00 points to trade at 2,065.00 at the close. Airport City Ltd (TASE:ARPT) declined 3.00% or 170.00 points to end at 5,502.00 and OPC Energy Ltd (TASE:OPCE) was down 2.74% or 76.00 points to 2,697.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 294 to 135 and 110 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for October delivery was down 0.42% or 0.32 to $75.22 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 0.46% or 0.37 to hit $79.31 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.05% or 1.30 to trade at $2,539.10 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 1.50% to 3.72, while EUR/ILS rose 1.60% to 4.11.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.48% at 101.81.
