Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Sunday, as losses in the Banking, Communication and Technology sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 declined 0.40%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Energix (TASE:ENRG), which rose 4.03% or 47.00 points to trade at 1,212.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Ormat Technologies (TASE:ORA) added 2.34% or 710.00 points to end at 31,110.00 and Shikun & Binui (TASE:SKBN) was up 2.24% or 20.10 points to 919.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were NICE Ltd (TASE:NICE), which fell 3.11% or 2,130.00 points to trade at 66,310.00 at the close. Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TASE:BEZQ) declined 2.51% or 13.00 points to end at 505.00 and Mizrahi Tefahot (TASE:MZTF) was down 2.15% or 270.00 points to 12,280.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 225 to 221 and 41 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for June delivery was down 1.10% or 0.78 to $70.09 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 1.08% or 0.81 to hit $74.17 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.23% or 4.60 to trade at $2,015.90 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.84% to 3.67, while EUR/ILS rose 0.24% to 3.99.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.65% at 102.53.
