Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Banking, Financials and Insurance sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 declined 0.38%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TA:TEVA), which rose 4.62% or 265 points to trade at 6004 at the close. Meanwhile, Paz Oil (TA:PZOL) added 2.28% or 1270 points to end at 56870 and ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TA:ICL) was up 0.98% or 19 points to 1951 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK), which fell 4.11% or 38 points to trade at 895 at the close. Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TA:BEZQ) declined 3.48% or 11.0 points to end at 305.0 and Gazit Globe Ltd (TA:GZT) was down 2.66% or 75 points to 2745.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 189 to 186 and 44 ended unchanged.
Shares in OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK) fell to all time lows; down 4.11% or 38 to 895.
Crude oil for April delivery was up 0.57% or 0.33 to $58.59 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 0.30% or 0.20 to hit $67.35 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 1.05% or 13.80 to trade at $1295.50 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.18% to 3.6050, while EUR/ILS fell 0.01% to 4.0748.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.25% at 96.750.
