Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Banking, Financials and Oil & Gas sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 lost 0.37%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Enlight Renewable Energy Ltd (TASE:ENLT), which rose 2.80% or 148.00 points to trade at 5,441.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Nova (TASE:NVMI) added 2.31% or 870.00 points to end at 38,490.00 and Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TASE:BEZQ) was up 2.28% or 11.10 points to 497.40 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Bank Hapoalim (TASE:POLI), which fell 3.02% or 90.00 points to trade at 2,887.00 at the close. Israel Discount Bank Ltd (TASE:DSCT) declined 3.01% or 55.00 points to end at 1,775.00 and Mizrahi Tefahot (TASE:MZTF) was down 2.95% or 380.00 points to 12,500.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 263 to 187 and 94 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.46% or 0.38 to $82.69 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 0.43% or 0.37 to hit $86.72 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.13% or 2.65 to trade at $2,002.95 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.67% to 4.04, while EUR/ILS rose 0.35% to 4.28.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.60% at 106.57.
