Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Biomed, Technology and Banking sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 lost 0.35%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were OPC Energy Ltd (TASE:OPCE), which rose 9.48% or 232.00 points to trade at 2,680.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Enlight Renewable Energy Ltd (TASE:ENLT) added 4.18% or 252.00 points to end at 6,281.00 and Camtek Ltd (TASE:CAMT) was up 3.54% or 1,050.00 points to 30,750.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Ormat Technologies (TASE:ORA), which fell 2.84% or 660.00 points to trade at 22,540.00 at the close. Amot Investments Ltd (TASE:AMOT) declined 1.47% or 24.00 points to end at 1,605.00 and First International Bank of Israel Ltd (TASE:FIBI) was down 1.38% or 200.00 points to 14,340.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 291 to 156 and 92 ended unchanged.
Shares in Ormat Technologies (TASE:ORA) fell to 52-week lows; down 2.84% or 660.00 to 22,540.00. Shares in Amot Investments Ltd (TASE:AMOT) fell to 3-years lows; falling 1.47% or 24.00 to 1,605.00.
Crude oil for May delivery was up 0.29% or 0.25 to $85.66 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 0.13% or 0.12 to hit $90.22 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.64% or 15.20 to trade at $2,398.20 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.25% to 3.76, while EUR/ILS rose 0.45% to 4.00.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.04% at 106.04.
