Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Banking, Financials and Communication sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 fell 0.31%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Mivne Real Estate KD Ltd (TASE:MVNE), which rose 2.64% or 23.90 points to trade at 928.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Electra Ltd (TASE:ELTR) added 2.61% or 3,940.00 points to end at 154,760.00 and Alony Hetz Properties and Investments Ltd (TASE:ALHE) was up 2.36% or 68.00 points to 2,955.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:TSEM), which fell 3.64% or 420.00 points to trade at 11,130.00 at the close. ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TASE:ICL) declined 2.43% or 56.00 points to end at 2,245.00 and Kenon Holdings Ltd (TASE:KEN) was down 1.83% or 173.00 points to 9,268.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 232 to 216 and 37 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for October delivery was down 0.53% or 0.42 to $79.22 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 0.60% or 0.50 to hit $83.53 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 1.18% or 22.65 to trade at $1,948.65 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.68% to 3.76, while EUR/ILS fell 0.47% to 4.09.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.20% at 103.26.
