Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Sunday, as losses in the Communication, Oil & Gas and Banking sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 declined 0.30% to hit a new 1-month low.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Liveperson (TA:LPSN), which rose 7.28% or 699 points to trade at 10300 at the close. Meanwhile, Nice Ltd (TA:NICE) added 1.09% or 450 points to end at 41650 and Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TA:TSEM) was up 0.94% or 56 points to 6006 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TA:TEVA), which fell 2.21% or 129 points to trade at 5701 at the close. OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK) declined 1.82% or 17 points to end at 901 and Bazan Oil Refineries Ltd (TA:ORL) was down 1.16% or 2.2 points to 187.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 219 to 151 and 31 ended unchanged.
Shares in Liveperson (TA:LPSN) rose to all time highs; gaining 7.28% or 699 to 10300. Shares in OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK) fell to all time lows; falling 1.82% or 17 to 901.
Crude oil for April delivery was down 1.11% or 0.63 to $56.03 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 0.92% or 0.61 to hit $65.69 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.98% or 12.65 to trade at $1298.75 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.03% to 3.6298, while EUR/ILS rose 0.05% to 4.0812.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.31% at 97.322.
