Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Banking, Biomed and Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 declined 0.27%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TASE:BEZQ), which rose 2.79% or 6.0 points to trade at 221.4 at the close. Meanwhile, OPKO Health Inc (TASE:OPK) added 2.21% or 16 points to end at 730 and Azrieli Group Ltd (TASE:AZRG) was up 1.72% or 440 points to 25980 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Delek Group (TASE:DLEKG), which fell 2.07% or 950 points to trade at 45000 at the close. Leumi (TASE:LUMI) declined 1.74% or 43 points to end at 2434 and Nice Ltd (TASE:NICE) was down 1.65% or 870 points to 51930.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 220 to 151 and 42 ended unchanged.
Shares in Delek Group (TASE:DLEKG) fell to 5-year lows; down 2.07% or 950 to 45000.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.12% or 0.07 to $58.16 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 0.09% or 0.06 to hit $64.22 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.97% or 14.65 to trade at $1529.75 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.16% to 3.5146, while EUR/ILS fell 0.36% to 3.8628.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.14% at 98.273.
