Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Banking, Financials and Communication sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 declined 0.26%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Airport City Ltd (TA:ARPT), which rose 2.16% or 89 points to trade at 4200 at the close. Meanwhile, Israel Corp (TA:ILCO) added 1.62% or 1200 points to end at 75480 and Bazan Oil Refineries Ltd (TA:ORL) was up 1.58% or 2.5 points to 160.3 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Perrigo (TA:PRGO), which fell 1.99% or 530 points to trade at 26070 at the close. Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TA:BEZQ) declined 1.89% or 8.1 points to end at 420.0 and OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK) was down 1.85% or 28 points to 1484.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 202 to 177 and 35 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for July delivery was down 1.39% or 0.91 to $64.61 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 0.42% or 0.32 to hit $75.06 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.12% or 1.60 to trade at $1303.80 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.09% to 3.5700, while EUR/ILS rose 0.58% to 4.2043.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.34% at 93.53.
