Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Insurance, Financials and Banking sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 lost 0.18%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Elbit Systems Ltd (TASE:ESLT), which rose 2.91% or 1580 points to trade at 55880 at the close. Meanwhile, Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:TEVA) added 2.16% or 53 points to end at 2503 and Shufersal (TASE:SAE) was up 1.40% or 34 points to 2470 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Airport City Ltd (TASE:ARPT), which fell 2.92% or 202 points to trade at 6708 at the close. Azrieli Group Ltd (TASE:AZRG) declined 2.67% or 700 points to end at 25520 and Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TASE:BEZQ) was down 2.36% or 5.2 points to 215.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 208 to 182 and 28 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for October delivery was down 0.53% or 0.29 to $54.81 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 1.05% or 0.62 to hit $58.63 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.61% or 9.40 to trade at $1538.80 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.32% to 3.5402, while EUR/ILS rose 0.10% to 3.8830.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.12% at 98.977.
