Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Biomed, Banking and Technology sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 fell 0.17%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TA:TSEM), which rose 3.32% or 340 points to trade at 10590 at the close. Meanwhile, Airport City Ltd (TA:ARPT) added 2.95% or 132 points to end at 4600 and Harel (TA:HARL) was up 2.82% or 57 points to 2077 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK), which fell 7.05% or 161 points to trade at 2123 at the close. Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TA:TEVA) declined 2.93% or 201 points to end at 6650 and Mizrahi Tefahot (TA:MZTF) was down 1.52% or 97 points to 6270.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 215 to 184 and 10 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for October delivery was up 1.89% or 0.93 to $50.23 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 1.16% or 0.64 to hit $55.80 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.15% or 2.00 to trade at $1330.00 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.43% to 3.5279, while EUR/ILS fell 0.53% to 4.1890.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.02% at 92.37.
