Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Sunday, as losses in the Banking, Real Estate and Biomed sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 lost 0.16%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Nice Ltd (TA:NICE), which rose 4.00% or 1590 points to trade at 41370 at the close. Meanwhile, Sodastream International Ltd (TA:SODA) added 2.27% or 1040.0 points to end at 46940.0 and Bazan Oil Refineries Ltd (TA:ORL) was up 2.21% or 4.0 points to 185.3 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TA:TSEM), which fell 2.99% or 230 points to trade at 7450 at the close. Ormat Technologies (TA:ORA) declined 2.10% or 410 points to end at 19090 and Perrigo (TA:PRGO) was down 1.84% or 490 points to 26150.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 215 to 161 and 22 ended unchanged.
Shares in Sodastream International Ltd (TA:SODA) rose to all time highs; rising 2.27% or 1040.0 to 46940.0. Shares in Bazan Oil Refineries Ltd (TA:ORL) rose to 5-year highs; gaining 2.21% or 4.0 to 185.3.
Crude oil for September delivery was up 1.45% or 0.97 to $67.78 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 1.25% or 0.90 to hit $72.97 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.06% or 0.70 to trade at $1219.20 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.70% to 3.7162, while EUR/ILS fell 0.29% to 4.2406.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.76% at 96.19.
