Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Banking, Financials and Biomed sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 lost 0.12%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Phoenix Holdings Ltd (TASE:PHOE1), which rose 2.50% or 74 points to trade at 3029 at the close. Meanwhile, Nice Ltd (TASE:NICE) added 1.74% or 1550 points to end at 90750 and Energix (TASE:ENRG) was up 1.66% or 20 points to 1225 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Ormat Technologies (TASE:ORA), which fell 2.13% or 490 points to trade at 22470 at the close. ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TASE:ICL) declined 1.52% or 34 points to end at 2200 and Electra Ltd (TASE:ELTR) was down 1.44% or 2590 points to 176930.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 271 to 183 and 38 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for September delivery was up 1.55% or 1.09 to $71.39 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 1.44% or 1.04 to hit $73.27 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.18% or 3.25 to trade at $1806.65 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.01% to 3.2738, while EUR/ILS fell 0.20% to 3.8523.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.16% at 92.907.
