Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Sunday, as losses in the Biomed, Technology and Banking sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 fell 0.12%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Nova (TASE:NVMI), which rose 5.97% or 1550 points to trade at 27500 at the close. Meanwhile, ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TASE:ICL) added 3.07% or 57 points to end at 1911 and Electra Ltd (TASE:ELTR) was up 2.92% or 4890 points to 172090 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Ormat Technologies (TASE:ORA), which fell 7.26% or 2950 points to trade at 37700 at the close. Maytronics (TASE:MTRN) declined 3.62% or 211 points to end at 5620 and Perrigo (TASE:PRGO) was down 1.69% or 250 points to 14550.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 241 to 183 and 20 ended unchanged.
Shares in Nova (TASE:NVMI) rose to all time highs; up 5.97% or 1550 to 27500. Shares in ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TASE:ICL) rose to 52-week highs; rising 3.07% or 57 to 1911.
Crude oil for March delivery was up 2.54% or 1.48 to $59.72 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 2.49% or 1.52 to hit $62.66 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.12% or 2.25 to trade at $1824.55 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.17% to 3.2528, while EUR/ILS rose 0.11% to 3.9424.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.01% at 90.425.
