Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Banking, Financials and Oil & Gas sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 lost 0.11%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Liveperson (TASE:LPSN), which rose 3.77% or 430 points to trade at 11840 at the close. Meanwhile, Mivne Real Estate KD Ltd (TASE:MVNE) added 2.46% or 31 points to end at 1292 and Phoenix Holdings Ltd (TASE:PHOE1) was up 2.10% or 82 points to 3978 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:TSEM), which fell 3.22% or 390 points to trade at 11710 at the close. Ormat Technologies (TASE:ORA) declined 2.67% or 670 points to end at 24410 and Energix (TASE:ENRG) was down 2.04% or 28 points to 1345.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 270 to 220 and 32 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for January delivery was down 1.31% or 0.95 to $71.41 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 1.29% or 0.98 to hit $74.84 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.42% or 7.55 to trade at $1777.95 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.15% to 3.1014, while EUR/ILS fell 0.30% to 3.5016.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.39% at 96.255.
