Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Banking, Technology and Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 declined 0.10%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Strauss Group (TA:STRS), which rose 1.52% or 107 points to trade at 7141 at the close. Meanwhile, Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TA:BEZQ) added 1.49% or 7.9 points to end at 536.7 and Isramco Negev 2 LP (TA:ISRAp) was up 1.26% or 0.6 points to 48.3 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Airport City Ltd (TA:ARPT), which fell 1.55% or 71 points to trade at 4504 at the close. Ormat Technologies (TA:ORA) declined 1.39% or 310 points to end at 21990 and Poalim (TA:POLI) was down 1.38% or 33 points to 2357.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 203 to 201 and 12 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.42% or 0.24 to $56.98 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 0.03% or 0.02 to hit $63.54 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.42% or 5.40 to trade at $1279.60 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.12% to 3.5450, while EUR/ILS fell 0.18% to 4.1347.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.12% at 94.41.
