Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Banking, Financials and Insurance sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 declined 0.08%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Shufersal (TASE:SAE), which rose 9.31% or 253 points to trade at 2970 at the close. Meanwhile, Liveperson (TASE:LPSN) added 7.23% or 610 points to end at 9045 and Shapir Engineering Industry (TASE:SPEN) was up 5.18% or 150 points to 3043 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Israel Corp (TASE:ILCO), which fell 3.17% or 4190 points to trade at 128190 at the close. Mizrahi Tefahot (TASE:MZTF) declined 2.17% or 270 points to end at 12170 and Maytronics (TASE:MTRN) was down 2.17% or 150 points to 6750.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 263 to 217 and 45 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for March delivery was up 0.73% or 0.63 to $87.45 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 0.52% or 0.46 to hit $88.98 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.58% or 10.40 to trade at $1795.30 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.68% to 3.1756, while EUR/ILS fell 0.14% to 3.5617.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.54% at 96.745.
