Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Banking, Real Estate and Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 declined 0.08%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Energix (TASE:ENRG), which rose 8.92% or 111 points to trade at 1355 at the close. Meanwhile, OPKO Health Inc (TASE:OPK) added 7.57% or 111 points to end at 1578 and Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TASE:BEZQ) was up 6.77% or 22.3 points to 351.5 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Ormat Technologies (TASE:ORA), which fell 4.59% or 1330 points to trade at 27650 at the close. Electra Ltd (TASE:ELTR) declined 3.12% or 5480 points to end at 170000 and Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE:ENOG) was down 2.34% or 100 points to 4180.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 246 to 191 and 28 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for April delivery was down 0.41% or 0.27 to $65.34 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 0.48% or 0.33 to hit $68.89 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.61% or 10.55 to trade at $1730.35 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.41% to 3.3091, while EUR/ILS fell 0.58% to 3.9476.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.15% at 91.810.
