Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Banking, Financials and Technology sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 declined 0.07%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Electra Ltd (TASE:ELTR), which rose 3.67% or 5,270.00 points to trade at 148,900.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Phoenix Holdings Ltd (TASE:PHOE1) added 3.17% or 114.00 points to end at 3,705.00 and Big Shopping Centers Ltd (TASE:BIG) was up 2.84% or 970.00 points to 35,170.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Camtek Ltd (TASE:CAMT), which fell 2.46% or 570.00 points to trade at 22,600.00 at the close. Leumi (TASE:LUMI) declined 1.79% or 51.00 points to end at 2,799.00 and First International Bank of Israel Ltd (TASE:FIBI) was down 1.39% or 210.00 points to 14,880.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 250 to 213 and 81 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for January delivery was down 0.14% or 0.10 to $73.97 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 0.05% or 0.04 to hit $78.84 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 2.19% or 45.80 to trade at $2,043.90 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.46% to 3.72, while EUR/ILS fell 0.18% to 4.03.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.53% at 103.75.
