Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Communication, Banking and Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 fell 0.04%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Israel Corp (TA:ILCO), which rose 3.88% or 2940 points to trade at 78760 at the close. Meanwhile, Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TA:TEVA) added 3.31% or 274 points to end at 8540 and ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TA:ICL) was up 2.81% or 47 points to 1720 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Partner (TA:PTNR), which fell 3.47% or 48 points to trade at 1337 at the close. Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TA:BEZQ) declined 2.82% or 12.3 points to end at 424.0 and Azrieli Group Ltd (TA:AZRG) was down 2.70% or 500 points to 18000.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 199 to 194 and 26 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for July delivery was up 0.48% or 0.32 to $66.42 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 0.09% or 0.07 to hit $76.53 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.03% or 0.40 to trade at $1302.80 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.39% to 3.5842, while EUR/ILS rose 0.26% to 4.2241.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.04% at 93.60.
