Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Banking, Financials and Biomed sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 declined 0.03%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Elbit Systems Ltd (TASE:ESLT), which rose 1.71% or 800 points to trade at 47600 at the close. Meanwhile, Nice Ltd (TASE:NICE) added 1.32% or 1280 points to end at 98300 and Strauss Group (TASE:STRS) was up 1.32% or 123 points to 9410 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Ormat Technologies (TASE:ORA), which fell 2.37% or 600 points to trade at 24700 at the close. Bank Hapoalim (TASE:POLI) declined 2.28% or 71 points to end at 3044 and Liveperson (TASE:LPSN) was down 1.73% or 260 points to 14770.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 249 to 242 and 37 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for January delivery was down 0.83% or 0.66 to $79.03 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 0.99% or 0.81 to hit $81.36 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.10% or 1.80 to trade at $1866.70 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.12% to 3.1023, while EUR/ILS fell 0.40% to 3.5436.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.06% at 95.188.
