Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Banking, Communication and Real Estate sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 fell 0.02%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:TSEM), which rose 6.27% or 950.00 points to trade at 16,110.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Enlight Renewable Energy Ltd (TASE:ENLT) added 2.71% or 165.00 points to end at 6,250.00 and Elbit Systems Ltd (TASE:ESLT) was up 2.66% or 1,690.00 points to 65,260.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Shikun & Binui (TASE:SKBN), which fell 3.64% or 28.20 points to trade at 746.00 at the close. Leumi (TASE:LUMI) declined 3.54% or 94.00 points to end at 2,561.00 and OPC Energy Ltd (TASE:OPCE) was down 3.05% or 86.00 points to 2,736.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 297 to 182 and 24 ended unchanged.
Shares in Leumi (TASE:LUMI) fell to 52-week lows; down 3.54% or 94.00 to 2,561.00.
Crude oil for May delivery was down 0.92% or 0.77 to $82.49 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 0.97% or 0.85 to hit $86.48 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 1.44% or 29.25 to trade at $2,054.15 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.39% to 3.65, while EUR/ILS rose 0.21% to 4.04.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.55% at 100.61.
