Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Banking and Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 declined 0.01%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TASE:BEZQ), which rose 3.32% or 9.0 points to trade at 280.2 at the close. Meanwhile, Azrieli Group Ltd (TASE:AZRG) added 3.03% or 770 points to end at 26170 and Melisron (TASE:MLSR) was up 2.36% or 490 points to 21240 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:TSEM), which fell 4.36% or 351 points to trade at 7702 at the close. Perrigo (TASE:PRGO) declined 2.40% or 410 points to end at 16690 and OPKO Health Inc (TASE:OPK) was down 2.06% or 10 points to 499.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 202 to 172 and 35 ended unchanged.
Shares in OPKO Health Inc (TASE:OPK) fell to all time lows; down 2.06% or 10 to 499.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.90% or 0.51 to $57.31 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 0.79% or 0.49 to hit $62.55 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.64% or 9.25 to trade at $1462.95 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.20% to 3.4941, while EUR/ILS fell 0.27% to 3.8434.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.09% at 98.235.
