Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Real Estate, Oil & Gas and Banking sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 rose 3.20% to hit a new 1-month high.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Melisron (TASE:MLSR), which rose 15.45% or 2050 points to trade at 15320 at the close. Meanwhile, Mivne Real Estate KD Ltd (TASE:MVNE) added 12.72% or 90 points to end at 802 and Amot Investments Ltd (TASE:AMOT) was up 10.86% or 190 points to 1940 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Liveperson (TASE:LPSN), which fell 12.59% or 2590 points to trade at 17980 at the close. OPKO Health Inc (TASE:OPK) declined 9.40% or 115 points to end at 1109 and Shufersal (TASE:SAE) was down 6.37% or 166 points to 2440.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 290 to 130 and 12 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 8.99% or 3.34 to $40.48 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 7.96% or 3.14 to hit $42.59 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 5.02% or 98.00 to trade at $1853.70 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.21% to 3.3651, while EUR/ILS fell 0.86% to 3.9754.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.68% at 92.850.
