Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Banking, Financials and Insurance sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 rose 1.79%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TASE:ICL), which rose 5.55% or 81.00 points to trade at 1,540.00 at the close. Meanwhile, NICE Ltd (TASE:NICE) added 4.35% or 2,560.00 points to end at 61,420.00 and Elbit Systems Ltd (TASE:ESLT) was up 4.09% or 2,900.00 points to 73,800.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Camtek Ltd (TASE:CAMT), which fell 2.55% or 900.00 points to trade at 34,400.00 at the close. Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE:ENOG) declined 1.69% or 76.00 points to end at 4,420.00 and Amot Investments Ltd (TASE:AMOT) was down 0.56% or 9.00 points to 1,598.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 332 to 124 and 83 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for September delivery was down 0.97% or 0.76 to $77.59 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 0.58% or 0.47 to hit $80.22 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.74% or 18.55 to trade at $2,489.25 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.16% to 3.72, while EUR/ILS rose 0.55% to 4.11.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.20% at 102.18.
