Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Banking, Financials and Real Estate sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 added 1.56% to hit a new all time high.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Perrigo (TASE:PRGO), which rose 9.77% or 1300 points to trade at 14610 at the close. Meanwhile, Israel Discount Bank Ltd (TASE:DSCT) added 3.37% or 57 points to end at 1747 and Ashtrom Group Ltd (TASE:ASHG) was up 3.18% or 218 points to 7069 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Phoenix Holdings Ltd (TASE:PHOE1), which fell 1.10% or 39 points to trade at 3501 at the close. Israel Corp (TASE:ILCO) declined 1.04% or 1000 points to end at 95400 and OPC Energy Ltd (TASE:OPCE) was down 0.97% or 30 points to 3062.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 253 to 218 and 34 ended unchanged.
Shares in Israel Discount Bank Ltd (TASE:DSCT) rose to all time highs; gaining 3.37% or 57 to 1747.
Crude oil for October delivery was down 0.48% or 0.33 to $68.97 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 0.44% or 0.32 to hit $72.28 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.14% or 2.45 to trade at $1795.95 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.08% to 3.2056, while EUR/ILS rose 0.23% to 3.7926.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.22% at 92.448.
