Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Sunday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Banking and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 added 1.46%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Maytronics (TASE:MTRN), which rose 5.87% or 276.00 points to trade at 4,980.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Nova (TASE:NVMI) added 5.14% or 1,590.00 points to end at 32,520.00 and Ormat Technologies (TASE:ORA) was up 3.54% or 950.00 points to 27,800.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Electra Ltd (TASE:ELTR), which fell 2.37% or 4,560.00 points to trade at 187,500.00 at the close. Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:TSEM) declined 1.30% or 210.00 points to end at 15,950.00 and Energix (TASE:ENRG) was down 0.49% or 6.00 points to 1,222.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 334 to 151 and 26 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for September delivery was unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to $94.57 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 2.05% or 2.03 to hit $101.13 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.04% or 0.70 to trade at $1,706.50 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.92% to 3.46, while EUR/ILS fell 0.23% to 3.49.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.54% at 107.82.
