Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Real Estate, Banking and Oil & Gas sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 gained 1.44%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TASE:ICL), which rose 4.97% or 116.00 points to trade at 2,448.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TASE:BEZQ) added 4.30% or 21.50 points to end at 522.00 and Israel Corp (TASE:ILCO) was up 3.82% or 4,180.00 points to 113,560.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Enlight Renewable Energy Ltd (TASE:ENLT), which fell 2.68% or 181.00 points to trade at 6,579.00 at the close. Energix (TASE:ENRG) declined 2.47% or 33.00 points to end at 1,303.00 and Nova (TASE:NVMI) was down 1.10% or 490.00 points to 44,100.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 315 to 155 and 32 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for September delivery was up 0.60% or 0.50 to $83.42 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 0.60% or 0.52 to hit $86.69 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.47% or 9.25 to trade at $1,950.65 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.41% to 3.70, while EUR/ILS fell 0.20% to 4.06.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.04% at 102.30.
