Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Banking, Communication and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 added 1.44%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Liveperson (TASE:LPSN), which rose 4.93% or 930 points to trade at 19800 at the close. Meanwhile, Nova (TASE:NVMI) added 4.38% or 820 points to end at 19550 and Maytronics (TASE:MTRN) was up 3.99% or 201 points to 5241 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Alony Hetz Properties and Investments Ltd (TASE:ALHE), which fell 1.85% or 65 points to trade at 3450 at the close. Energix (TASE:ENRG) declined 1.02% or 15 points to end at 1454 and Elbit Systems Ltd (TASE:ESLT) was down 1.00% or 390 points to 38610.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 261 to 131 and 30 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 4.09% or 1.53 to $35.86 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 4.16% or 1.65 to hit $37.99 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.51% or 9.65 to trade at $1869.55 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.35% to 3.4189, while EUR/ILS fell 0.37% to 3.9867.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.72% at 94.078.
