Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Banking, Financials and Real Estate sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 added 1.42% to hit a new all time high.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Israel Corp (TASE:ILCO), which rose 3.78% or 4840 points to trade at 133000 at the close. Meanwhile, Israel Discount Bank Ltd (TASE:DSCT) added 2.97% or 60 points to end at 2080 and Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:TSEM) was up 2.85% or 340 points to 12290 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Liveperson (TASE:LPSN), which fell 3.83% or 450 points to trade at 11300 at the close. Ormat Technologies (TASE:ORA) declined 0.89% or 210 points to end at 23410 and Harel (TASE:HARL) was down 0.38% or 13 points to 3450.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 323 to 180 and 23 ended unchanged.
Shares in Israel Discount Bank Ltd (TASE:DSCT) rose to all time highs; up 2.97% or 60 to 2080. Shares in Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:TSEM) rose to 3-years highs; rising 2.85% or 340 to 12290.
Crude oil for February delivery was up 1.33% or 0.97 to $73.73 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 1.41% or 1.06 to hit $76.34 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.36% or 6.45 to trade at $1808.65 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.35% to 3.1507, while EUR/ILS fell 0.35% to 3.5678.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.05% at 96.015.
