Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Sunday, as gains in the Communication, Insurance and Banking sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 added 1.39%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Shikun & Binui (TASE:SKBN), which rose 8.19% or 151 points to trade at 1995 at the close. Meanwhile, Liveperson (TASE:LPSN) added 6.29% or 1400 points to end at 23660 and Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TASE:BEZQ) was up 4.23% or 13.3 points to 327.6 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were OPKO Health Inc (TASE:OPK), which fell 9.45% or 169 points to trade at 1620 at the close. Perrigo (TASE:PRGO) declined 3.14% or 450 points to end at 13880 and Nice Ltd (TASE:NICE) was down 2.81% or 2350 points to 81400.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 332 to 95 and 25 ended unchanged.
Shares in Liveperson (TASE:LPSN) rose to all time highs; gaining 6.29% or 1400 to 23660. Shares in Perrigo (TASE:PRGO) fell to 5-year lows; losing 3.14% or 450 to 13880.
Crude oil for April delivery was unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to $59.26 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to hit $62.14 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.47% or 8.35 to trade at $1783.35 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.02% to 3.2716, while EUR/ILS rose 0.29% to 3.9655.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.28% at 90.345.
