Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Banking, Biomed and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 gained 1.32%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:TEVA), which rose 6.87% or 339.00 points to trade at 5,272.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Camtek Ltd (TASE:CAMT) added 5.43% or 1,600.00 points to end at 31,050.00 and First International Bank of Israel Ltd (TASE:FIBI) was up 3.11% or 450.00 points to 14,910.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Ormat Technologies (TASE:ORA), which fell 3.68% or 910.00 points to trade at 23,800.00 at the close. NICE Ltd (TASE:NICE) declined 3.11% or 2,690.00 points to end at 83,740.00 and Sapiens International Corporation NV (TASE:SPNS) was down 2.03% or 240.00 points to 11,610.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 289 to 170 and 80 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for June delivery was down 1.34% or 1.11 to $81.52 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 1.38% or 1.20 to hit $86.00 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 2.03% or 47.85 to trade at $2,309.85 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.43% to 3.74, while EUR/ILS fell 0.68% to 3.99.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.46% at 105.93.
