Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Communication, Technology and Banking sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 rose 1.30%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Matrix (TASE:MTRX), which rose 7.62% or 570 points to trade at 8050 at the close. Meanwhile, Melisron (TASE:MLSR) added 4.78% or 830 points to end at 18200 and Energix (TASE:ENRG) was up 4.23% or 50 points to 1231 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were OPKO Health Inc (TASE:OPK), which fell 4.56% or 69 points to trade at 1443 at the close. Liveperson (TASE:LPSN) declined 3.28% or 620 points to end at 18270 and Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE:ENOG) was down 2.70% or 116 points to 4176.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 298 to 144 and 25 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for April delivery was up 2.39% or 1.54 to $65.98 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 2.47% or 1.68 to hit $69.58 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.02% or 0.30 to trade at $1721.50 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.35% to 3.3074, while EUR/ILS rose 0.13% to 3.9632.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.42% at 91.438.
