Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Sunday, as gains in the Real Estate, Biomed and Banking sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 added 1.30%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Alony Hetz Properties and Investments Ltd (TASE:ALHE), which rose 6.06% or 235 points to trade at 4114 at the close. Meanwhile, Amot Investments Ltd (TASE:AMOT) added 5.33% or 95 points to end at 1879 and Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TASE:BEZQ) was up 4.41% or 13.0 points to 308.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were OPKO Health Inc (TASE:OPK), which fell 5.71% or 54 points to trade at 888 at the close. Delek Group (TASE:DLEKG) declined 5.70% or 550 points to end at 9100 and Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE:ENOG) was down 2.50% or 63 points to 2461.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 240 to 149 and 22 ended unchanged.
Shares in Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TASE:BEZQ) rose to 52-week highs; up 4.41% or 13.0 to 308.0.
Crude oil for July delivery was down 1.50% or 0.51 to $33.41 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 2.36% or 0.85 to hit $35.21 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.74% or 12.80 to trade at $1734.70 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.33% to 3.5318, while EUR/ILS fell 0.12% to 3.8497.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.40% at 99.800.
