Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Financials, Insurance and Banking sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 added 1.29%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Ormat Technologies (TASE:ORA), which rose 4.19% or 950.00 points to trade at 23,650.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Harel (TASE:HARL) added 3.49% or 114.00 points to end at 3,379.00 and Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TASE:BEZQ) was up 3.32% or 14.80 points to 460.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Sapiens International Corporation NV (TASE:SPNS), which fell 1.12% or 130.00 points to trade at 11,450.00 at the close. OPC Energy Ltd (TASE:OPCE) declined 0.85% or 23.00 points to end at 2,686.00 and Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:TSEM) was down 0.50% or 60.00 points to 11,910.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 263 to 181 and 95 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for May delivery was down 0.42% or 0.35 to $82.34 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 0.55% or 0.48 to hit $86.81 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.30% or 7.05 to trade at $2,395.45 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was unchanged 0.08% to 3.79, while EUR/ILS unchanged 0.01% to 4.04.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.10% at 105.87.
