Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Insurance, Financials and Banking sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 rose 1.12%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Enlight Renewable Energy Ltd (TASE:ENLT), which rose 3.87% or 220.00 points to trade at 5,910.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Shapir Engineering Industry (TASE:SPEN) added 3.67% or 88.00 points to end at 2,488.00 and Shikun & Binui (TASE:SKBN) was up 3.61% or 25.40 points to 728.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were OPC Energy Ltd (TASE:OPCE), which fell 1.54% or 41.00 points to trade at 2,630.00 at the close. Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:TSEM) declined 0.60% or 100.00 points to end at 16,450.00 and Delek Group (TASE:DLEKG) was down 0.43% or 170.00 points to 39,400.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 241 to 221 and 36 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for June delivery was up 1.19% or 0.93 to $78.80 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 1.25% or 1.02 to hit $82.48 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.31% or 6.15 to trade at $1,996.65 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was unchanged 0.11% to 3.66, while EUR/ILS rose 0.28% to 4.03.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.35% at 101.20.
