Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Real Estate, Banking and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 rose 1.07%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Energix (TASE:ENRG), which rose 3.60% or 47.00 points to trade at 1,354.00 at the close. Meanwhile, OPC Energy Ltd (TASE:OPCE) added 3.48% or 89.00 points to end at 2,650.00 and Shikun & Binui (TASE:SKBN) was up 3.48% or 33.00 points to 974.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TASE:ICL), which fell 1.63% or 28.00 points to trade at 1,690.00 at the close. Ormat Technologies (TASE:ORA) declined 0.66% or 160.00 points to end at 23,960.00 and Sapiens International Corporation NV (TASE:SPNS) was down 0.29% or 30.00 points to 10,350.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 263 to 206 and 68 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for March delivery was down 1.18% or 0.92 to $77.09 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 1.05% or 0.87 to hit $82.08 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.37% or 7.55 to trade at $2,043.65 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.68% to 3.66, while EUR/ILS fell 1.21% to 3.95.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.34% at 103.59.
