Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Banking, Oil & Gas and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 added 1.07%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Israel Corp (TASE:ILCO), which rose 5.35% or 5110 points to trade at 100570 at the close. Meanwhile, ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TASE:ICL) added 4.73% or 106 points to end at 2348 and Azrieli Group Ltd (TASE:AZRG) was up 3.63% or 900 points to 25700 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Nice Ltd (TASE:NICE), which fell 2.44% or 2160 points to trade at 86410 at the close. Elbit Systems Ltd (TASE:ESLT) declined 1.45% or 620 points to end at 42150 and OPKO Health Inc (TASE:OPK) was down 0.91% or 11 points to 1198.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 273 to 211 and 22 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for September delivery was up 3.34% or 2.22 to $68.70 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 2.93% or 2.02 to hit $71.06 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.37% or 6.45 to trade at $1732.95 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.21% to 3.2261, while EUR/ILS rose 0.06% to 3.7809.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.15% at 93.073.
