Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Banking, Financials and Insurance sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 added 1.06%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Harel (TASE:HARL), which rose 2.82% or 97.00 points to trade at 3,541.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:TEVA) added 2.78% or 183.00 points to end at 6,762.00 and Camtek Ltd (TASE:CAMT) was up 2.49% or 730.00 points to 29,990.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Ormat Technologies (TASE:ORA), which fell 0.80% or 220.00 points to trade at 27,390.00 at the close. Delek Group (TASE:DLEKG) declined 0.77% or 310.00 points to end at 40,000.00 and OPC Energy Ltd (TASE:OPCE) was down 0.65% or 19.00 points to 2,889.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 301 to 144 and 94 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for October delivery was up 2.38% or 1.60 to $68.91 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 2.03% or 1.43 to hit $72.04 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 1.46% or 37.15 to trade at $2,579.55 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 1.25% to 3.72, while EUR/ILS fell 1.02% to 4.11.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.08% at 101.58.
