Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Real Estate, Communication and Banking sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 added 0.99% to hit a new 1-month high.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Alony Hetz Properties and Investments Ltd (TASE:ALHE), which rose 4.78% or 130.00 points to trade at 2,840.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Ashtrom Group Ltd (TASE:ASHG) added 3.10% or 160.00 points to end at 5,281.00 and Electra Ltd (TASE:ELTR) was up 2.62% or 3,720.00 points to 145,840.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Kenon Holdings Ltd (TASE:KEN), which fell 0.59% or 55.00 points to trade at 9,300.00 at the close. Harel (TASE:HARL) declined 0.30% or 9.00 points to end at 2,990.00 and Delek Group (TASE:DLEKG) was down 0.29% or 160.00 points to 55,480.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 303 to 148 and 93 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.18% or 0.16 to $90.64 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 0.10% or 0.09 to hit $94.25 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.67% or 13.15 to trade at $1,966.85 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.40% to 3.79, while EUR/ILS rose 0.19% to 4.07.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.46% at 104.35.
