Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Communication, Real Estate and Banking sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 rose 0.93%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TASE:ICL), which rose 4.38% or 65.00 points to trade at 1,550.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Camtek Ltd (TASE:CAMT) added 4.24% or 1,190.00 points to end at 29,270.00 and Israel Corp (TASE:ILCO) was up 4.20% or 3,130.00 points to 77,660.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Newmed Energy LP (TASE:NWMDp), which fell 1.03% or 9.80 points to trade at 945.20 at the close. Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:TEVA) declined 0.73% or 49.00 points to end at 6,635.00 and Enlight Renewable Energy Ltd (TASE:ENLT) was down 0.47% or 28.00 points to 5,970.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 268 to 175 and 96 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was down 1.36% or 0.97 to $70.59 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.99% or 0.74 to hit $73.73 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.19% or 5.15 to trade at $2,682.15 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.21% to 3.74, while EUR/ILS fell 0.36% to 4.18.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.17% at 100.32.
