Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Banking, Financials and Biomed sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 gained 0.91% to hit a new 3-years high.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Israel Discount Bank Ltd (TA:DSCT), which rose 2.76% or 33.0 points to trade at 1230.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Poalim (TA:POLI) added 2.65% or 69 points to end at 2677 and OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK) was up 2.46% or 51 points to 2122 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Amot Investments Ltd (TA:AMOT), which fell 1.32% or 25 points to trade at 1871 at the close. Partner (TA:PTNR) declined 0.82% or 14 points to end at 1688 and Nice Ltd (TA:NICE) was down 0.74% or 310 points to 41580.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 237 to 171 and 14 ended unchanged.
Shares in Israel Discount Bank Ltd (TA:DSCT) rose to all time highs; up 2.76% or 33.0 to 1230.0. Shares in Poalim (TA:POLI) rose to all time highs; rising 2.65% or 69 to 2677.
Crude oil for October delivery was up 0.03% or 0.02 to $68.74 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 0.29% or 0.22 to hit $76.35 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.35% or 4.30 to trade at $1217.60 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.07% to 3.6295, while EUR/ILS rose 0.33% to 4.2355.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.38% at 94.72.
