Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Banking, Biomed and Technology sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 added 0.84%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Fattal 1998 Holdings Ltd (TASE:FATTAL), which rose 6.23% or 3120 points to trade at 53180 at the close. Meanwhile, Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:TEVA) added 2.68% or 67 points to end at 2567 and Liveperson (TASE:LPSN) was up 2.34% or 320 points to 14000 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Israel Corp (TASE:ILCO), which fell 2.52% or 1720 points to trade at 66400 at the close. Paz Oil (TASE:PZOL) declined 1.17% or 570 points to end at 48260 and ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TASE:ICL) was down 1.01% or 16 points to 1565.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 233 to 165 and 18 ended unchanged.

Shares in Paz Oil (TASE:PZOL) fell to 52-week lows; losing 1.17% or 570 to 48260. Shares in ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TASE:ICL) fell to 52-week lows; down 1.01% or 16 to 1565.
Crude oil for October delivery was down 0.28% or 0.15 to $54.02 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 0.60% or 0.35 to hit $58.45 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.17% or 2.65 to trade at $1540.25 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.36% to 3.5203, while EUR/ILS rose 0.08% to 3.9126.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.35% at 97.868.
