Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Sunday, as gains in the Real Estate, Banking and Technology sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 gained 0.81%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Nova (TASE:NVMI), which rose 3.77% or 1,580.00 points to trade at 43,500.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:TSEM) added 3.07% or 420.00 points to end at 14,090.00 and Enlight Renewable Energy Ltd (TASE:ENLT) was up 2.38% or 155.00 points to 6,670.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Israel Corp (TASE:ILCO), which fell 1.14% or 1,110.00 points to trade at 96,000.00 at the close. Strauss Group (TASE:STRS) declined 1.05% or 88.00 points to end at 8,256.00 and Shapir Engineering Industry (TASE:SPEN) was down 0.98% or 25.00 points to 2,528.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 296 to 171 and 34 ended unchanged.
Shares in Nova (TASE:NVMI) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 3.77% or 1,580.00 to 43,500.00.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.84% or 0.59 to $70.45 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.91% or 0.68 to hit $75.19 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.52% or 9.90 to trade at $1,927.80 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.30% to 3.71, while EUR/ILS rose 0.74% to 4.05.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.42% at 102.57.
