Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Banking, Financials and Insurance sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 added 0.78% to hit a new 1-month high.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Electra Ltd (TASE:ELTR), which rose 4.85% or 6,680.00 points to trade at 144,280.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Shikun & Binui (TASE:SKBN) added 4.57% or 43.00 points to end at 975.00 and Enlight Renewable Energy Ltd (TASE:ENLT) was up 3.25% or 186.00 points to 5,906.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TASE:BEZQ), which fell 1.79% or 9.00 points to trade at 494.00 at the close. Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE:ENOG) declined 1.30% or 57.00 points to end at 4,341.00 and ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TASE:ICL) was down 1.28% or 25.00 points to 1,923.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 263 to 193 and 88 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for January delivery was down 0.24% or 0.19 to $77.64 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 0.13% or 0.11 to hit $82.21 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 1.33% or 26.25 to trade at $2,006.55 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.27% to 3.72, while EUR/ILS rose 0.26% to 4.06.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.07% at 103.25.
