Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Banking, Financials and Real Estate sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 rose 0.70%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TA:TEVA), which rose 3.26% or 251 points to trade at 7940 at the close. Meanwhile, Israel Discount Bank Ltd (TA:DSCT) added 2.44% or 30.0 points to end at 1257.0 and Liveperson (TA:LPSN) was up 1.96% or 155 points to 8075 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK), which fell 1.16% or 16 points to trade at 1365 at the close. Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TA:TSEM) declined 1.02% or 75 points to end at 7255 and Israel Corp (TA:ILCO) was down 0.85% or 1000 points to 116200.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 189 to 175 and 41 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was down 0.29% or 0.20 to $69.55 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.47% or 0.38 to hit $79.67 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.04% or 0.50 to trade at $1227.90 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.38% to 3.6600, while EUR/ILS rose 0.02% to 4.2048.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.12% at 95.46.
